Two new Ministry Opportunities!!!

Sunday Morning Snacks: If you like to bake, (or even if you don’t), we are looking for people to bring snacks for our Sunday Morning coffee - they can be homemade or store bought.  Please see Christine, or sign up online or on the Connection Card.

 Lawn Cutting:  We are looking for people who would be willing to donate a few hours a month to cut the grass at the office.  If interested, please see David Sandeno, or sign up online or on the Connection Card. 

Prayer teambe available during service prayer time and to receive a pray for needs that come into the office on a daily basis.

Welcome Familiesshow new individuals and families around the church on Sunday and invite them to sit with you during service.

 Parking Lotgreet people in the parking lot with a smile and friendly greeting also assist during inclement weather.

 Greeting Teamwelcome people by name with a warm smile and friendly greeting.

Sign-in Table:  assist people to check in and get their nametags,

  First time table:  help new people get a name tag, gather infor mation, and connect them to a welcome family.

 Usherreceive offering, pass out materials when needed, and serve communion

Security:  periodically patrol hallways, make sure doors are secure, and be prepared to respond if there is an urgent situation

Videomanage pro-presenter software and lighting sytem

Soundmanage sound during services, practices when needed, and possible paying jobs for outside groups

Scripture Readerread a designated Scripture verse during Sunday service

Prayer Requests/Praise Reportsshare praise reports and prayer request during Sunday service

Baking Team:  make cookies and baked goods for visitors and church

Cookie Crew pack dry ingredients for the weekly visitor cookie baker, take a gift tin of cookies and information to Sunday visitors after church on Sunday,

Card Writer Follow up, get well, thinking of you, and visitor notes

Setup:  :  assist with basic setup needs like minimal chair arranging, children’s ministry setup, welcome area

Tear Down: break down children’s area, welcome area, take out trash

Stage Management: make sure participants in the service are where they need to be at the right moment

Coffee Set up: make coffee and set out treats

Coffee Tear Down: clean out coffee pots and pack away materials

Welcome Gift Assembly: put the cookies and information in the tins during service to be able to be taken to guests after service.

Sign Holders: Hold welcome signs in the church and parking lot.  Smile.  Help people if they need assistance

Small Group Leader/Host: prepare lesson and lead group during small group semester; host the location for a small group

Youth worker: Assist Pastor John with youth group services and activities

Royal Ranger Leader/Mpact Girls Ministry Leader: Help prepare and conduct weekly Royal Ranger meetings or Mpact meetings.

RFK: assist with our ministry foster children

Office Support Staff: fold bulletins, organize materials

Event Planning Team: help with the various special events and outreaches

NurserySunday mornings and Wednesday evenings

Preschool: Sunday mornings
